Character Grade Solid American White Oak Flooring
American White Oak flooring will create an elegant yet contemporary finish to your internal surroundings. Kiln dried to an 8-12% moisture content and machined to 20mm for additional heat retention.
Unlike European oak, which is known for its golden hue, as the name suggests American white Oak is lighter in colour with white and pinkish tones running throughout the distinct grain. American white oak will create a more elegant finish to your flooring project.
These boards are of a character grade; therefore, the boards will contain sound knots, fine splits running with the grain, fillable defects, some sapwood and a slight colour variation, adding to the overall rustic charm of this flooring. Character grade American flooring will offer a more elegant and pristine finish in comparison to the rustic grade.
Your boards will be supplied unfinished to allow you to add a finish or treatment to your boards if required.
Our floorboards are supplied in a tongue and grooved all round and will be fully end matched to a natural, seamless finish to your flooring. These boards are supplied in a planed finish so no further sanding will be required.
All our oak flooring is cut to order. Available in various widths to allow you to select the board to suit your interior preference.
Supplied in random lengths between 1 metre and 4 metres.
The price shown is per square metre (m2).
Please remember that the longer you leave these boards to acclimatise to their new surroundings, the less prone to movement the boards will be when fitted. These boards are machined from a natural product, therefore as the temperature and humidity varies throughout the year, it should be expected that your boards may move slightly as the boards' contract or expand.
