Character Grade V Tongue and Groove External Cladding

Our Character Grade Air Dried Oak V Tongue and Groove Cladding is perfect if you wish to achieve the traditional finish of tongue and groove with an elegantly rustic finish.

Just like the classic T&G profile, these boards are fixed by inserting the tongue into the groove. The chamfering at the top and the bottom of the boards accentuates the individual board creating a subtle 'V' shadow lines along the joints.

Freshly sawn on site, these boards will contain varying knots and colour variation. As Oak is a natural product it will acclimatise to the changing temperatures, therefore your boards may expand and contracts. These natural characteristics of oak add to the charming rustic appearance of this cladding.

Your boards will be supplied untreated. No treatment is required for these boards, however, if you wish to preserve the supplied colour of these boards for that little while longer, then please take a look at our treatex range.

Available in the following section sizes:

• 115mm x 22mm- The overall width is 115mm with the visible face measuring 110mm
• 142mm x 22mm- The overall width is 142mm with the viable face measuring 137mm.

The face size is less 5mm to account for the tongue joint.

If your boards are exposed to varying weather conditions before fitting, they are likely to cup, warp and split; the ideal time to fit cladding to keep this to a minimum is between the months of October and April and within 7 to 14 days of delivery.

Our Character Grade V Tongue and Groove External Cladding is priced per square metre and comes in random lengths between 1200mm and 3600mm unless otherwise specified for an additional charge:

Set lengths up to 3500mm - £4.00 extra per square metre exc VAT

Set lengths above 3500mm - £8.00 extra per square metre exc VAT
