European Oak Decking (100x25mm)
Our fully air dried, stable state, 100mm European Oak Decking has been carefully machined to a 25mm depth to ensure serious solidarity to an already beautiful, durable domestic hardwood.
These decking boards are machined from character grade oak, so your boards may experience some knots, irregular grain and potentially a little sapwood, adding to the character of the board to give you that rustic English oak feel.
With Oak being one of the most durable European hardwoods, your decking will require no treatment once it is laid, however, our customer often decide to apply a coat of decking oil to maintain this the stunning natural colour and characteristics of oak. If you decide to not treat your European oak decking, it will gradually become silver/grey colour once it is exposed to external factors.
Taking care of your decking is crucial is ensure its durability adding an exterior treatment to your timber not only provides protection for the natural properties of the wood but it will also help to enhance its natural beauty. By protecting your decking from the elements, you will also be increasing its resistance against rot, decay and insect attack. We work closely with the Treatex brand to provide you with a range of products that offer great value for money without compromising on quality.
Available in various lengths, your decking boards can either be machined with a bevelled edge non-slip profile or planed smooth. Please be aware that if a preferred finish is not stated then a bevelled profile will be supplied.
Still unsure if this is the timber suitable for your garden project? We offer up to two samples of our decking boards for a £5 inc VAT postage charge so you can get to grips with our decking to select your preferred material. Should you then wish to purchase decking boards of that are of the same product as your samples, we will reimburse you the £5 postage charge upon placing your order with us.
