Lightweight Oak Featheredge Cladding
This cladding is perfect for achieving oak cladding for the price of cheaper softwood options. Freshly sawn and machines into a smaller section size of 125mm wide and 15mm reducing to 5mm at the feather, you will still have the natural beauty of oak at a more affordable price.
Due to the natural characteristics of Oak, these boards will contain some sound knots and often some slight colour variation. As the Oak acclimatises to the changing temperatures, your boards will also expand and contract. All of these natural characteristics of freshly sawn oak are what gives our Lightweight Oak Featheredge Cladding its classically rustic charm.
Your boards will be supplied untreated. No treatments are required, however, if you wish to preserve the supplied colour for that little while longer or use a weather-resistant sealant, please take a look at our Treatex range. Should you wish to leave it to age gracefully, it will eventually turn to a silver grey colour as the suns rays do their work.
The advertised price of our Lightweight Oak Featheredge Cladding is priced per square metre and comes in lengths from 1200mm to 3600mm.
