Grow your own root vegetables, herbs, or make an easy-to-manage flower bed by using one of these easy-to-fix deep oak raised bed kits.
This 1200mmx1200mmx500mm raised bed kit is created from eight 1200x250x70mm new untreated oak sleepers (cut by us straight from the tree). These raised bed kits are naturally long lasting as oak will outlast softwood (even tanalised softwood) by many years.
We use new untreated English oak sleepers for these kits - and these will have some splits, knots and possibly a waney edge or two. Each raised bed kit is highly unique, and full of character.
The sleepers will have pieces cut out so they can be quickly fixed together to form a deep raised bed - without the need for fixings.
